Hi, I’m Gwen
I’m a long-time home chef with a cooking style focused on nutrient-dense dishes. While studying Holistic Health in my undergrad, I became passionate about approaching food as medicine. Simultaneously, I’ve struggled with eczema and gut health-related issues for the last decade. My healing started with a relationship to foods that nourish me. Knowing inflammation was the root of these issues, I’ve explored variations of dairy-free, gluten-free, and low-FODMAP diets and watched my eczema disappear and my digestion finally do its job! Maybe you’re like me and have specific diets that work for you, or you have more wiggle room and want to try it all! Every body is beautifully unique, and we will work together to meet your needs.
Energized, creative recipes are essential to avoiding boredom and menu fatigue. As a Los Angeles native, I’m lucky enough to have been exposed to a variety of cuisines over the years. In building a menu, I pull inspiration from many traditions and cultural backgrounds. Additionally, I prioritize high quality ingredients, produce diversity and aesthetic beauty in my approach. I believe in finding a balance when it comes to eating well — one that is both curated to both your taste and your health goals. See you in the kitchen!
